My name is Richard Bloomfield, and since 2007 I have lived in Dublin in Ireland.
I grew up in the market town of Knaresborough in North Yorkshire, went to university in Liverpool, and lived for 12 years in Edinburgh before moving to Ireland.
I work as an IT Business Analyst, helping businesses to formulate and communicate their technology requirements. My experience is in the Healthcare, Telecoms, Utilities, Finance, and Online Gambling industries. I currently work for Paddy Power.
I’m also a semi-professional classical singer. I first started singing as a child aged 10 in my local parish church, and have have continued ever since. Between 2007 and 2015 I was a Lay Vicar Choral in Christ Church Cathedral.
In addition to classical music, I have a keen interest in technology and gadgets. I’m also a bit of a cycling advocate, and use my bike as my main source of transportation.
In 2013 I married Louise.
