I received my Irish passport in January 2020 after receiving Irish citizenship through naturalisation in December 2019.
When the passport arrived, little did I know that – because of the global pandemic – it would be some 22 months before I’d finally get the opportunity to travel! And tomorrow’s the day when I’ll be using it for the first time.
